Amores Perros, directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, has been one of my favorite films since I first saw it some 20 years ago. It weaves together three different stories of the struggles of life in contemporary Mexico City. The movie's theme song poignantly reflects the darkness of poverty and violence the characters face.
