A little piece I wrote, not all that long ago, that celebrates those final, waning days of summer, and the feel of change in the air. I'm working on an entire album of original music, so this one is just a taste of what's to come.
And if you hear a bit of the Beatles' "Blackbird" in there, you're not mistaken. This song started as an homage of sorts to that early influence in my musical life. I remember it clear as day the first time I heard it on guitar, and I guess it's bounced around in my head ever since.
